Privacy

Security Officer Basics needs no account. Members create an account with their name, email address and a password. Our login provider stores these so you can log in, along with whether your membership is active. Payments are handled by Stripe: your card details go to Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number.

Your lesson progress and quiz results are saved only in your own browser (local storage) so you can pick up where you left off. Clearing your browser data removes them.

The name you type for a certificate is used to build the PDF on your own device. It is not sent to us.

Lesson videos play from YouTube or Vimeo in privacy-enhanced mode. Those services may still set cookies or collect viewing data under their own privacy policies.

Our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and operations. This site runs no analytics and no ads.

If ads are added later, the ad provider may use cookies, and this policy will be updated with the required notices and choices before that happens.
